As we age, there is a natural decrease in production of the collagen and elastin that gives youthful plumpness and structure to our skin. 

This leads to general skin laxity, a loss of volume and the formation of lines, folds and wrinkles. This can happen throughout the facial features, but can be particularly visible in certain areas.

Carefully targeted injections fill out lines, folds and areas where hollows have formed such as under the eyes. They can be used to lift and add to the cheeks and chin, and to plump the lips.

As we age, the natural loss of collagen and elastin means that our skin bears the signs of everyday expressions, such as raising our eyebrows and frowning. These lines can become permanent and be visible even when we are not making these facial expressions.
